This months edition of rapid review discusses the newly introduced Methenamine Hippurate in the Indian market. Its pharmacological properties, indications and adverse events along with dosing are discussed. The review also discusses about its current evidence and guideline indications of the same. A short review of cranberry extract and D mannose has also been added highlighting its current role and evidence of these commonly used drugs for recurrent UTI.
