Rapid review: Diagnostic tests for GUTB

The current edition of rapid review discusses about the various diagnostic tests available for genito- urinary tuberculosis with a focus on their sensitivity and specificity. The review is aimed at providing a ready reckoner for the practicing urologist to assess the diagnostic of each and every test and help in interpreting the result in clinical practice. Tests ranging from simple and readily available such as urine routines & AFB to complex and under trials such as SYBR green PCR have been discussed with the pros and cons of each test along with their accuracy.
